One night Vaughn was helping me cook dinner and he asked if he could get the silverware and napkins. Since then it has turned into him setting the table every night. It's a perfect responsibility so he can get a cotton ball in his "hooray" jar. In addition to setting the table every night, there are other ways he has been earning a cotton ball. He gets himself completely dressed on his own in the morning, cleans up after breakfast (he's been doing this for about a year), helps with Nolan and gets into his car seat every time we get into the car (he likes to jump in the back of the van making it very difficult to leave on time). I love how excited he is when he makes a good choice. His excitement and joy is my reward.
