The mountains are pretty.
The sand really scrapes up knees even if the fall is pretty light.
It barely rains in the desert, but when it does, it's wonderful. It's beautiful and tends to cool things down a little.
Lizards, javelina, rattlesnakes, scorpions, oh, my!
