One thing about Vaughn being my only child that I take advantage of is spending lots of time with him in our bed in the morning. Right after he wakes up, I change him then bring him to bed to nurse him. After he's done, we often just stare at each other and play. If Dave's still in bed, Vaughn will finish eating then leap over to Dave with the biggest smile ever.
This morning, instead of crawling on Dave, Vaughn saw that he was still sleeping so he reached up, carressed his back, then grabbed his fingers. Seeing his tiny fingers wrapped around his daddy's fingers was such a precious. moment.
