Nunny and Pappy got to Arizona today. Vaughn still isn't feeling 100%, but he sure felt great when pappy let him open his big birthday gift! His friends are going to like it even more.
We have decided to have Vaughn's birthday party on November 7 since Grammy (Dave's mom) will be here and gives us more time to be able to have a nice one for him. In order to do SOMETHING on his birthday, we decided to invite three (well, one of them won't be here on the 7th) friends and our Arizona family over for some cake. We didn't want anyone to feel left out, but are more or so doing this so Vaughn can have some kind of celebration on his day in the space we have at our house. I put together pictures of Vaughn from every month and can't believe how big he got in just a short time!
Vaughn was very interested in his pappy's mustache, then his mouth.
Pappy and Nunny got Vaughn a jumper bounce house with a ball pit attached! It fits perfectly in our "dining room" (it's designed to be a dining room but we just have a couch in there right now). Vaughn was not very smiley all day, but he sure enjoyed his new toy! We were able to put his balls from his turtle in the pit, too. He kept diving head first into it.
Woops! Vaughn was crawling down to pappy, but just as I took the picture, he tumbled down the slide. He didn't cry and actually seemed to enjoy it!
Vaughn loves balls!
