Flagstaff has a lot of trains! Vaughn loves trains therefore he loves Flagstaff! We came to this old station to watch the freight trains yesterday and today - three total times.
Tonight, we went over to the platform after we had dinner with uncle dusty and aunt Jamie (yes, they surprised Vaughn!). We waited for a while before daddy and Nolan joined us. Vaughn was getting scared because it was getting late and there was no train. He decided the trains were "having quiet time".
We started heading back and just as we crossed the tracks, I could hear the signals and chimes on the their side. We ran back across, and down the sidewalk to get to the platform before the train. It was so much fun!
As we were running, Vaughn yelled in excitement, "The trains aren't having quiet time. I was wrong!!" So cute that he was so excited for being wrong.
It was a fun night before heading back to wash up for the night.
*Vaughn got two new trains on this trip that he just loves!
* Nolan is not a big fan of huge loud freight trains rushing towards him at full speed.
