4th of July Camping Trip Top 10:
10. Vaughn got to ride his bike on pavement and didn't wreck! Woo Hoo!9. Vaughn named a squirrel (which he calls, "skurls"), "Squirrel Tree" and proceeded to think every squirrel we saw was "Squirrel Tree."
8. Nolan only fell once and got a tiny scrape on his head. He didn't try crawling in the rocks too much, either.
7. Filmore! Vaughn was super excited to spot Filmore from Cars.
6. Nolan and Vaughn slept until 8am every morning!
5. We got to see a ton of trains. We found out that Nolan is terrified of large trains.
4. Rain! We got to see a lot of rain but it was a perfect amount and didn't disrupt any plans.
3. The light was pretty awesome (only put this to get a giggle or maybe an eye roll from Dave!)
2. Every time we asked Vaughn what his favorite part of camping was, his reply was, "marshmallow!" We let him eat one marshmallow every night but we did end up paying for it on our last day :/
1. Uncle Dusty, Aunt Jamie, Molly and Emily all surprise Vaughn and Nolan by coming up for the day! It was a warm 80 degrees when the got there, then rained for a few hours, and cooled to the 60's! It was awesome. Vaughn and Molly even got to jump in some puddles.
